Darrell Whitehead

Moving away from a background in trade, Darrell started out as an apprentice in the air conditioning industry where he gained a solid foundation of knowledge. As time went on, Darrell’s work ethic lead him into new directions and he tried his hand at project management.

After an opportunity came up to manage a new venture, Darrell spent three years in tropical Fiji where he put his management skills to good use and gained considerable experience.

Darrell gave up the beach life in Fiji and returned to New Zealand. He was approached shortly after by our other Director, Peter, to join him in establishing Flocon Mechanical Ltd. Having developed such a strong working relationship with Peter during his time as a Project Manager, Darrell took on the challenge and helped to make Flocon the business it is today.

With a love of the outdoors, Darrell enjoys being outside whenever he can and loves a good adventure, but fishing and cycling are two of his favourite pass times.

Alongside a dedicated team, Darrell is focused on growing Flocon and delivering exceptional products and services to their clients.
